Our next Women Confidence Builders event is scheduled for January 26th, 2023. 11:30am - 1pm. We are still discussing the location/venue for this event. Here you will find connections, relationships, networking and amazing empowering speakers.

If you are interested in being certified and getting free services to help your business grow, I would highly recommend reading and using the following notes:

The Link - Messer Construction is one of the larger contractors who require WBE/MBE participation. Every customer has their own unique need.

This link Link - SBA Offices is the office that will show you step by step how to get certified. It will take 1/10th of the time going through here if they're as good as other states.

If you are in South Carolina, Spittin@clemson.edu Sherry Pittinger will support you if you have needs with certification.

When it comes to federal government contracts, you may want to contact your APTAC…there are many workshops included on this Website - APTAC as well.

Also, this Training - Ascent, free in 2021 for the first time, is available for you. The women in our area who are successfully winning government bids have used this website to gain valuable insight into operating their businesses in government purchasing.

84 Lumber likes to provide a starting point and to make connections for small businesses with resources and government officials who are qualified as well as make introductions to our customers and connections, like Messer Construction, when they are working on projects in a particular area.  If you are interested in doing business with 84 Lumber or being included in the database they share with customers, government officials, supplier diversity managers, and city/county purchasing agents, please register here - 84 Registration
