Where would we be without the skilled trades?

I am THANKFUL for those in the skilled trades, particularly in construction who have built communities and shelters with their own hands.

We often take for granted the homes we live in and the buildings we work in. Do we think about how these got here? Construction professionals - from design to finishing - from ground to structure. It is one of the most dangerous and physically intense environments to work in.

Let's remember the women and men who work hard from start to finish to provide us with shelter - let the hard hats and high-visibility vests remind us of the risks these folks take each day, just to make our lives happier.

Iron Elk wishes you all a very safe and happy Thanksgiving.
